On Christmas Eve, I watch my brothers and sisters in Christ get so excited to see old friends, people they haven’t seen in the church for a long time. I’ve been pastor at St Paul for only a years – but on Christmas I realize that there are many people connected to St Paul that I’ve never met. As busy as we are on Christmas Eve, I’m hardly going to get to know everyone that one night.
If you are somehow connected to St Paul, and have been away for some time, I hope you feel welcome at St Paul this Christmas. But also know that St Paul has been missing something very important while you’ve been away – we’ve been missing you.
